Eliciting response from the student on the pictures displayed on the
provocation board presenting ‘change’. The student responded brilliantly by writing
her answers on the board.
Unwrapping the central idea which was based on the
changes people undergo at various stages
of their life and the student shared her perspective by illustrating various examples from her life on the various changes she has been experiencing.
Indeed student’s driven efforts on designing IB Attitudes, Learner Profile and also formulating the Essential Agreements she values the most.
An activity on building paragraphs, in which the student was asked to put all the sections in right order followed by a brief lesson on paragraphing.
Formative Assessment 1-
The student was asked to present
analysis on the basis of data collected by interviewing her family
members and friends on various changes (social, intellectual, physical
and emotional) they
have undergone. She collected relevant data and presented analysis in
writing. Her
performance was commendable!
The student of Grade 5 guiding students of Grade 4 on the French lessons, thus reflecting on her own learning experience.
